The origins of language

Meet as a group, and come to a consensus about these three questions:
- What was the first use of language by humans?--what were the exact first word(s) ever spoken?
- Explain your choice. Why do you think this was first? What does your first use tell us about human nature and/or language?
- How could we figure out whether you're right? What sources of evidence could we examine?
