The Janzen Lab Personnel
I am a third-year undergraduate majoring in Microbiology and minoring in Emerging Global Diseases. I have helped with the research animals, and worked on lab projects involving turtles at the Horticulture Farm and elsewhere with Dan Warner and Tim Mitchell. I was an NSF REU intern with the lab in summer 2010, working on a project with western hognose snakes (Heterodon nasicus) as well as all of the turtles at Turtle Camp. In fact, I now have five straight years of experience out in the field at Turtle Camp! I would like to continue my education after ISU in order to work eventually at St. Jude's Hospital.
