Book:     Physics 221 Laboratory Manual, Spring, 2002 printing. This manual is available at the University Bookstore. Only this printing is suitable; if you received an earlier printing from the bookstore this semester, please return it to the bookstore in exchange for the correct printing.

Lab Fee:  The fee for Physics 221 Laboratory is $15.75.  You will be billed for this later in the semester.

Laboratory Room:  Physics Room 64 (unless otherwise noted).

Note I:           For this experiment there is no pre-lab for this experiment; do instead pre-lab #0 in your manual.

Note II:          Note the next lab is not the next one in the manual! Be sure you prepare for the correct lab each week!

Note III:        Note that this lab is not the next one in the manual!! Experiments are not always done in the order which they have in the manual!!

Note IV:        For several non-trivial reasons, this experiment had to be scheduled later than we would like. It produces very pretty data and involves great physics. You likely will learn quite a bit from doing it. Consider it an important review for the final exam!
