I am from Tehran, Iran and earned both my Master's in ELT and Bachelor's in English Translation from Islamic Azad University, Tehran, Iran. Prior to leaving for the US, I taught English to adults and young adults at several language institutes as well as Sharif University of Technology. I have also worked as a newscaster/translator in the English Radio. My primary research interests include CALL, hybrid learning, self-directed learning and learner autonomy. I am currently teaching ISUComm Foundation Courses in the Department of English.
