Interests

I love to play ultimate Frisbee. I started playing for my high school’s club team and have enjoyed it ever since. In Minnesota they have a yearly ultimate state tournament where schools can come and compete for a weekend. I did this for two years. It was really tiring, but well worth it. Hopkins won it both years I was there and I’m guessing they have won it since then, being that they are really good.

I also enjoy playing the drums. I started playing in middle school and have tried to stay in touch with it by playing for the Salt Company throughout college. I really enjoy using the double kick whenever possible, as this is really fun to incorporate into a song.

A third and final interest of mine is the complexity of the human body. Being a health major I enjoy learning more and more about how the body works. I do want to become a physical therapist someday, and hopefully by learning more about the body I’ll be able to do that.
