One interest of David is Iowa State athletics. Although the football team is not doing, so well he enjoys going to the games and rooting for the cyclones.

David is also interested in running. The Boston Marathon is the ultimate goal for David right now. He has under 2 weeks left in his training where he will run Des Moines marathon on October 19, 2008. The Boston marathon is on April 20, 2009, and he can guarantee you if he makes it he will be spending that day in Boston.

Soccer is also another interest of David. He loves playing soccer and is a certified ref. He is currently on the recreation soccer team in Cedar falls Iowa, where there are 4 Sevcik brothers on the same team, which is coached by their dad.
