Board Room Presentations
The board room presentation is not a formal presentation.
You will be presenting seated around a "board room" table.
You will not be required to use PowerPoint; however, you may
want to bring some visual aids to enhance your presentation of
the Culture Report.
Some points to remember are
- Dress appropriately for your audience and purpose,
- Be prepared to answer questions about the material in
and surrounding your Culture Report,
- Work well within your group, as you will be graded on
group interaction and transitions, and
- Use this opportunity to find a comfort level with
talking to and in front of this group.
(50 pts. possible)
PowerPoint Presentations (for
proposal assignment)
This presentation will be a more formal presentation of your
Grant Proposal. You will be presenting to the "funding agency"
from whom you are requesting funds (members of your class will
act as your audience if you cannot get your actual funding
agency representatives to class).
In addition to the requirements for the Board Room
Presentation, you will need to develop a PowerPoint Presentation
for your proposal. This presentation will need to follow the
rules discussed in class as well as demonstrate your comfort
level with the technology.
Do not forget to practice your presentation with your entire
group to ensure smooth transitions and a good comfort level with
the program, the computer, and the audience.
