David Harper's Engineering 170 WebPage

Purpose

Hello! Welcome to my Homepage! My name is David Harper and I am a freshman studying engineering at Iowa State University. In my Engineering 170 class, we are creating many projects this semester using a CAD software program called Solidworks. The purpose of this website is to have a location where I can post my projects for anyone to see. Navigation on the site is very simple. There is a scroll down menu that contains a few of my CAD projects I have done so far in class at the top of the page.

About Me

I was born and raised in Iowa City, Iowa. I have three older sister, Heather, Jennifer and Hillary. I attended City High school on the east side of Iowa City. I was very involved in both music and sports. My freshman year I played football and soccer, I ran cross country my sophmore through senior year, and I played tennis my junior year. I was involved in jazz band, drumline, indoor drumline, percussion ensembles, concert bands, concert choirs, show choir, and other small musical groups. I still enjoy singing and drumming very much. I was also a City High Ambassador, cross country captain, drumline captain, a member of the National Honors Society, and a valedictorian. Here at ISU I am a member of the Freshman Honors Program, I sing in the Statesmen Choir, and I am the president of the Cessna House in the Larch Dorm.
