NAB: Life Long Staff Development

 
New Art Basics, a project that began in 1986, is founded on a philosophy of staff development that aims to provide support for art educators from initial preservice education until retirement. We believe that life-long learning should be a goal of educators as well as an objective for students. Perhaps the most important learner in the K-12 classroom should be the teacher; a role model of continuous growth and learning for students. To this end NAB maintains both initial training and a variety of yearly inservice education features for updating of knowledge and posing challenging new perspectives on visual arts education for experienced teachers. These features include:
