The Program
Any BFA or BA graduate from an accredited college
or University art curriculum who would like to share their love
of art with small children and/or young adults.
Any art graduate of an accredited college or university who
would like to attain K-12 certification to teach art.
Any currently certified art teacher who would like to develop
their knowledge and receive a Master’s degree to further
career advancement. |

Graduation Outcomes
1) Master’s Degree:
Aquiring a masters degree raises ones professional abilities
and K-12 public school salary.
2) Certification:
Completion of this program will qualify students who do not
currently hold a teaching degree to be recommended for both
K-6 and 7-12 art certification. Students who already hold certification
or those who are preparing for teaching careers outside the
K-12 system may complete the graduate program without taking
the additional undergraduate coursework required for a certification
recommendation.

Art education available through evening classes
Experienced art teachers returning to school to upgrade their
knowledge and skills learn along with exceptional young artists
seeking to gain initial certification to teach. This interconnection
creates dynamic learning environments.

The New Art Basics Program
An original curriculum of two thousand classroom tested ideas
is available to students. Experienced affiliated art teachers
mentor students.

Educational Opportunities
Learn to teach by doing. Students teach in outstanding
K-12 art classrooms throughout their graduate program.
Work closely with experienced and innovative art teachers. Students
work with specialists both in classes and in K-12 mentoring
experiences. |
