New Art Basics is Discipline-Specific Education

Art is a discipline with boundaries: boundaries formed by characteristic thought processes, problems and problem solving processes, and a focus on the originality of individual human beings. New Art Basics looks at the specific nature of these boundaries and asks teachers to teach and students to learn, the specific nature of the discipline of art.
