Contextual Thinking For Strategy Design: Step 1

Planning for an effective New Art Basics learning/teaching strategy requires contextual thinking.

 [contextual_target]

A starting point for planning a strategy (Contextual Target) can be:

  • A particular art material or technique
  • The work of a particular artist or artistic style
  • A specific NAB visual thinking skill
  • A multicultural concept
  • A specific source of design
  • Any theme or topic

Contextual thinking then requires the Teacher/Researcher to "web" their thinking about this contextual target rather than accepting the first teaching idea that comes to mind.

Move to the next step in the contextual thinking process.
