This is a metasite that provides access to other translation websites. A good source for translating esoteric material, but be warned: not all of the sites included are of the same quality.

Hispanic American Periodicals Index (HAPI)
The online version of this important index provides access to information and research on Latin America, focusing on social sciences and the humanities. HAPI includes bibliographic citations from over 400 journals, published worldwide.

Handbook for Literary Translators
Online guide written and made available by the Translation Committee of the PEN American Center, copyrighted 1999. Focuses on articulating the responsibilities and "do's and don't's" of translation. In English.

Linguistics and Language Behavior Abstracts (LLBA) (ISU only)
This resource is a useful way to find citations to scholarly articles that focus on the linguistic and technical aspects of translation. Use this in conjunction with the MLA Bibliography (see below) to get a well-rounded picture of the published scholarly material that is available in the area of translation studies.
