I managed to get my Web Design teacher to accept me working on my site as work on my projects for school, so I've been using class time to make a nice new layout. The template was finished friday, I just need to put the info on for the seperate pages.
However, this will not be as easy as it was in the past, as I'm planning on doing something special this update. I'm reorganizing my content and adding some. Hopefully there will be some static content for people to look at, not just the ever changing blog.
As another hold-up, I won't be at school, therefore won't have access to my school computer and the files on it, for five more days, and I haven't been there since Friday. This is because I missed Monday and Tuesday because of illness (my temperature was over 102F Sunday night, I still have a bad cough and a runny nose) and school is out the rest of the week.
I'll try and post more little bits of work like Gordon though.

Last night I was looking at my computer and I said to myself, "Self, we ought to do something productive." Self replied, "Yes David, we should... but what?" Then a thought hit me, self said, "Hey, we could expand your abilities in Flash thus furthering your awesomeness as a web designer!" So I did.

The product was this little stick guy I call gordon who takes a couple steps across the screen, then disappears and does it again. The file is very small, please look at it.

You know what's annoying? When you're trying to do drive-bys and you're trying to target one specific person, and that person manages to dodge every bullet out of you sub-machine gun and walk right up to your window and pull you out of the car despite the fucking gun in his face!

For some reason Irritability appears to have...disappeared. More on this later.

I was playing GTA3 and I picked up a hooker. I took her to my hideout in Portland, and when she got out of the car and I shot at her she ran into my hideout. I shot her and she landed on the bed.... she stayed there after I saved.

I've been experimenting with Flash a bit recently, with the ultimate goal of getting a flash movie to be a page background. So far I haven't been able to do it, although my desktop wallpaper is a nice little movie. The problem I've run into is that for some reason neither IE nor Netscape will allow me to put a flash movie on a lower z-level than any other element with CSS. I've tried replacing the movie with an image and not changing any other code, verifying I wrote everything right, and I did. It just won't work with a movie for some reason. If only I could tell my stylesheet to put a swf file as the background outright it would save so much trouble. Maybe I oughta suggest that to W3C...
