Announcements
  • (8-23) My office hours are MTR 1:10-2 PM, W 10-11 AM in Carver 487. If you have any  questions related to the course, be sure to stop in for help.
  • (8-23) Quiz 1 will be on Friday, August 27.
  • (8-23) There is now a WebCT section available for this course. The only purpose of this section is for gradekeeping. Login using your ISU NetID and password.
  • (9-10) Exam 1 will be on Thursday September 16th. The 14th lecture will be reserved for review.
  • (9-13) Topics for Exam 1 will be from sections 1.1-1.7 in the text. Materials to study include past quizzes, assigned homework, and optional homework. Also, review lecture notes and topics not covered from the text.  For further review, complete the chaper 1 review in the text, pg 98, 1-36.
  • (9-21) Exam 2 will be on Tuesday, October 5. This exam will include topics from chapter 2. Monday, October 4 will be reserved for a review day.
  • (10-19) Exam 3 will be on Friday, October 29. This exam will cover most of chapter 4 in the text. Thursday, October 28 will be review.
  • (10-26) Below is a list of review problems for Exam 3.

  • (11-30) The Final Exam will take place on Wednesday, December 15 from 2:15pm-4:15pm. The exam will take place in the regualar classroom in Sweeney 1126. This exam will include all topics discussed in lecture throughout the semester. 
  • (12-11) I will be holding the following office hours during finals week. Feel free to stop by with any questions. If you are unavailable at these times, email me to make an appointment.
