Soccer

I have been playing soccer ever since the first grade. I played in multiple clubs growing up as well as for my highschool team. I also enjoyed my time playing competitive soccer in undergrad at Grinnell College. I am now lucky enough to continue in my passion with the Ames Hurricanes FC where I help out by serving on the committee and being a team captain while participating in many scrimmages and league games year round.

Travel

I was fortunate enough to spend a semester abroad my junior year of undergrad in Aix-en-Provence. While there I also had the opporutnity to visit Spain, Italy (Florence, ROme, Cinque Terre), Scotland (St. Andrews, Stirling, Edinburgh) and parts of France including Paris, Marseille, Nice, Corsica and various small villages in southern France. I loved my time traveling there and ever since I have been itching for a chance to go back!

Family

Ever year my extended family (on my dad's side) get together for one week in the summer. It is always one of the highlights of the year for me. The photo below includes just some of us and was taken just this past summer during our reunion in Boone, North Carolina.

Music

I've been playing piano since I was around four years old. ALthough I took a bit of a break from playing in college --- where I particpated in a percussion ensemble instead --- I recently received my own digital piano and have greatly enjoyed getting back into playing.
