(Ames, Iowa)-- Credit
has gone wild on college campuses across the country, and on Tuesday,
February 24, 2004, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the College of Design atrium,
members of Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) took action to help Iowa State University students tame their credit.
Students were invited to
participate in an online scavenger hunt February 17-24
and visit the credit awareness booth in the College of Design February
24. A list of scavenger hunt items and directions can be found on line
at www.iastate.edu/public/~creditgonewild.com.
Three cash prizes were awarded to
the Credit
Gone Wild Scavenger HuntWinners,
Two
$25 prizes and one
$50 grand
prize.
A credit awareness
booth designed to inform students of the risks and benefits of credit
was set up in the College of Design atrium. There members of PRSSA
shared information about
credit. Students were invited to
ask questions and participate in the Credit Gone Wild Scavenger Hunt.
