Please find below some examples of my vusal designs and writing about visual modes of communication in a few recent projects.
"A Multimodal Approach to Academic 'Literacies': Problematising the Visual/Verbal Divide" was a paper I wrote in ENGL 250 about the complex tensions between visual and verbal modes of communication in academic work.
"Fine Art, Imagination, and Literacy" was a paper I wrote soon after, about how we integrate art and the imagination into critical thinking about problems.
"Lilith" was a painting I made in my art class in the Workshop in the basement of the Memorial Union.
