Notes: "Captain Daniel Feagin commanded a company in Colonel Russell's Virginia Regiment in the Revolutionary War. He enlisted in 1776 in Loudon County, VA. He was given a grant of 3000 acres of land for his service in the Revolutionary War: 2000 on the Kentucky side of the Ohio River and 1000 on the Ohio side in Brown (then Clermont) County. In 1788 he moved to Simon Kenton's Station, Mason County, Kentucky. Later he moved to Fayette County, Ohio. He died while visiting his son in Georgetown, Brown County OH and is buried there. "
