“1972” is
about a family in that year facing many changes. The
father (Robert) is a conservative with a
sense of humor who likes Archie Bunker; the mother (Maureen)
is
exploring women’s liberation; Marnie,
19, is taking classes in feminism and
social movements; and Bob, 20, is pursuing the American Dream. The
sparks fly
when Janice, a free-loving hippie, comes on the scene, and both Bob and
Marnie
are attracted to her...

has been performed at two staged readings, on October 15-16, at Actors Studio in Ames, IA. Cast
is pictured above: Fredric Wiegel, Victoria Farwell, Doris Nash, Erica
Fuchs, and David Michael.
