Central Stores now has a live catalog showing current inventory quantities and prices through for university employees.  Please contact Belva Weers at bweers@iastate.edu to make this available for your use.

Ordering
Our online ordering system is quick and easy to use and you can also order through CyBuy in Access+.  Hand written requisitions can be faxed to 515-294-6394, phoned in to 515-294-0408, or emailed to  CS Sales.

New Products & Request to Stock
We are adding new products as requested. If we do not carry what you need, please contact Bill Spratt at 515-294-0408 or by email bspratt@iastate.edu.

Specialty Items
Merchandise that cannot be obtained from Central Stores stock may be purchased from our local Contract suppliers by following these steps:

1. Central Stores is available to make daily downtown runs at 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. if you need help in locating merchandise not carried in our inventory, call (515) 294-0408 for assistance.
2. If you want to pick up merchandise downtown yourself, bring a Central Stores' Requisition form, signed by the head of your department, including all necessary information to Central Stores. We will provide you paperwork to authorize this purchase.

 

 

Safety Shoes and Glasses Central Stores has special contract pricing on Red Wing and Lehigh safety shoes for state employees.  We are open Tuesdays and Thursdays 8 to 11 so you can browse the catalogs and have them ordered.

An optician is on site at Central Stores the first and third Tuesdays from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. You can bring in your prescription to have safety glasses ordered at contract pricing and he can also repair and adjust your glasses. Any questions, call Curt Purdum at 294-0405

Billing

Departments can view their weekly billing online through E-Reports on .  Online Requisitions can be viewed at any time through our online ordering system.
