The REAP (Research Equipment Assistance Program) is located at 93 Physics Hall. The REAP program does the following:

  • Maintains a current computerized list of major university research and teaching equipment.

  • Uses the computerized list to arrange for sharing of equipment in order to eliminate duplication of existing equipment, thus reducing expenditures.

  • Encourages the release of other excess property, such as furniture, computers, etc. to departments that have an immediate need.

  • Ensures that all departmental inventory records are updated to reflect the release and/or transfer of property.

  • Loans out used research equipment to students or departments who need a short loan to do research in the lab or classroom.

REAP has used research equipment that may be loaned out to any ISU student or staff who places a request. For additional information, please contact Norm Hill at 294-5752.
