Center for Excellence in the Arts and Humanities

Programming Support

In some cases, the Center for Excellence in the Arts and Humanities devotes a small percentage of its annual budget to assist departments and other units in the arts and humanities at Iowa State with their programming expenses (i.e., the cost of speakers, symposia, performances, exhibits, etc.).

Amounts available for programming grants will vary with budget constraints. Limited funding is available for fiscal year 2009.

Requests for support should be sent electronically to Joesph Kupfer, Director, (ceahdir@iastate.edu) and include the following:

  • a statement articulating the nature of the request (no more than one page); include a description of the event being planned, and its value to ISU students and faculty; also state if the event relates to the Center's annual programming theme or if it is interdisciplinary in nature.
  • an itemized budget, including acknowledgement of funding sought or already raised.
