Arts and Humanities inspire creativity, critical thinking, and lifelong learning. As such, in respect to gifts, grants, and donations, the Center for Excellence in the Arts and Humanities embraces the following:

We do not restrict, censor, or limit results, expressions, conclusions of research, creativity, and scholarship and the dissemination thereof.

We promote excellence in research, scholarship and creativity in the spirit of free expression and exploration.

We encourage various viewpoints so as to foster inclusive dialogue to illuminate issues important to the citizens of Iowa, the nation, and the world.

We value the integrity of Center-sponsored projects and, as such, must approve any changes to the work in question that depart from those of the original creation.

The Center acknowledges sponsors; however, the Center does not promote activities.
