Current Research

Currently, I am pursuing the development of controlled release and drug delivery devices using the mesoporous silica nanomaterials developed in our lab. I currently am investigating the interaction this material has on cellular development and propagation. I am investigating the difference in normal cell development and cancer cell with the ultimate goal of controlling the release of antitumor drugs in cancer cells. I also do the majority of the electron microscopy for the research group.
