Welcome to my site. My name is Chaz Beck. I'm a software engineer in my 4th year. I expect to graduate May 2009. Originally I was an aerospace engineer, then switched to computer engineering. Now that software engineering is a new major I've made the switch. I don't look at this as a bad thing switching so much. How many software engineers have knowledge of the inner workings of airplanes and rockets? And having the background of a computer engineer gives me the advantage as well because of my experience in assembly language (PPC) and the logic that forms the circuitry of today's modern day computers.

What I represent

I'm proud to go to Iowa State. This is one of the best schools in the United States for engineering. The first computer was invented here. So much history and now I'm apart of it.
