Ex Sp 222. Basic Athletic Training for Athletic Trainers. (2-2) Cr. 3. S. Prereq: Zool 255, 255L. This course is intended to provide pre-athletic training students with the knowledge of the profession of a certified athletic trainer, factors associated with injury prevention, treatment, emergency care of athletic injuries, protective equipment, basic organization, administrative, and legal concepts in the athletic training setting.
