• Dr. R. Sarma
R. Sarma is a member of the Mechanical Engineering Department at Iowa State. Graduate and undergraduate degrees were obtained from The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan (Ph.D.), The University of Toledo, Toledo, Ohio (M.S.), and Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, India (BTech.), respectively.

• Ms. Aarthi Rao
 
Ms. Rao is pursuing her Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. She has an undergraduate degree from BITS, Pilani in India from the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
 
• Mr. Jun Qu
 
Mr. Qu is pursuing a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has graduate and undergraduate degrees from Tianjin University, Tianjin in China from the Department of Precision Engineering.
 
• Ms. Martha Ward
 
Ms. Ward is pursuing her undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering at Iowa State University.
 
• Mr. Andrew McKean
 
Mr. McKean is pursuing an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering at Iowa State University.
 
• Mr. Venkataraman Ananthakrishnan
 
Mr. Ananthakrishnan is pursuing his Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has an undergraduate degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras in India from the Department of Civil Engineering.

Mr. Chris Baughman

Mr. Baughman obtained his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering at Iowa State University in December 1998. While he was with this group, he worked on an NC machining project funded by an NSF Research Experience for Undergraduates initiative. He was responsible for developing a postprocessor between ProEngineer and a three-axis Hitachi VM40 CNC machine. His first job after graduation is at Procter and Gamble in Iowa City.
