Operating Cycle with the Resource Management Model

With the Resource Management Model at Iowa State University, some of the Budget & Planning Operating Cycle for the current fiscal year changed from the traditional method.

Budget development for fiscal year 2009 began in October 2007 using a combination of the traditional method and the Resource Management Model. The Operating Cycle for FY2009 began in July 2008 and continues through the end of the fiscal year in June 2009.

A schedule for the FY2009 operating cycle, which includes when data is collected for the tuition revenue distributions, when revenue distribution and expense allocation transactions will be posted to the FM system and how information will be reported/communicated, is available.
