Project Description: Located 50 miles north of the city Waccabuc, New York, the architect Chan-li Lin wanted to capitalize on the views he experienced while visiting the site. The elements that primarily struck his attention were the trees surrounding the property. One of the most distinguishing features of the project is the large 20 foot cantilevers which are held up by two large steel trusses in combination with wood framing. Being of a horizontal orientation, Lin believed he could give the occupants the best views from these areas.
