Presentations at the 2014 International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium (IGARSS).
Dr. Jason Patton's presentation about the first estimate of the b-parameter at the satellite scale. It was part of the first-ever session on "Passive Microwave Remote Sensing of Vegetation Optical Depth" which was co-chaired by Dr. Hornbuckle and Dr. Jennifer Grant of Lund University in Sweden.
Dr. Patton's second presentation comparing SMOS vegetation optical depth with the estimate of vegetation optical depth that will be used for SMAP.
Wesley Rondinelli's presentation on the temporal dynamics of SMOS soil moisture and in-situ observed soil moisture. This research was an extension of Mr. Rondinelli's undergraduate senior thesis in meteorology.
