I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Agronomy and the Graduate Program in Biorenewable Resources and Technology (BRT) at Iowa State University. I work under the direction of Dr. Robert Anex, and Dr. Matt Liebman.

I conduct research in the areas of crop production ecology and cropping systems. I'm particularly interested in the application of ecological principles to the design and management of agricultural systems for improved productivity and environmental quality. My current research focuses on productivity and nutrient cycling in cropping systems designed specifcally to produce cellulosic feedstocks (i.e. biomass) for industrial conversion to fuels, energy, and chemicals.
