Magazine's Media Guide Cover of the Year Award
...Iowa State's cover, which features seniors Emily Welborn,
Krista Fehl and Lindsay Wiesner, placed second in voting. The
cover was designed by Paul Meenan, while the guide was written
and created by Matt Shoultz, Trevor Mickelson and Michelle

(March 12) Two Cyclone divers - junior Kali
Fryklund and sophomore Tien Tran - will be competing this week at
the NCAA Zone D Championships held at the University of Houston.
The divers will compete on 1-meter on Friday, 3-meter on
Saturday, and platform on Sunday. View all meet information and

(February 5) The Cyclones will host the Kansas
Jayhawks in a two day meet starting on Friday. The dual meet is
the final home meet of the season for the Cyclones and will serve
as the final tune-up in preparation for the Big 12 Championships.
On Friday, a 1-meter diving preliminary will be held early
beginning at 4:45 p.m. The entire meet is scheduled to start at
6:00 p.m. with the 1-meter diving final occurring in the regular
order of events that night. On Saturday the divers will again
start early at 9:00 a.m. with a 3-meter diving preliminary. The
swimming events begin at 10:00 a.m. with the 3-meter diving final
in the regular order of events that day. Please come and support

(February 2) The Cyclones lost to the

(January 17) This week the team competes against St.
Olaf on Friday night at 6 p.m. and against Missouri on Saturday
at 12 noon. Both are home meets, and we invite you to come and

(January 17) Second semester classes have
begun! The team did a great job in the classroom first semester
finishing with a team grade point average of 3.17. The academic
record board, located in the display case outside of the
spectator entrance at Beyer pool, is full listing 18 swimmers and
divers with a 3.0 or above, including two with a perfect 4.0.
(December 7) The Cyclones defeated the Hawkeyes
to clinch the Cy-Hawk Series for Iowa State University. The score
of the meet was: Cyclones 152, Hawkeyes 148. The Cyclones now

(December 4) Come and support the Cyclones as
they face the Iowa Hawkeyes at Beyer Pool in the final
competition of the semester! The meet beginis this Friday night
(December 7) at 6:00 p.m. The meet is part of the Cy-Hawk
Series in which the Cyclones are currently in the lead by a

(December 1) Iowa State defeated the University

(November 28) The starting time for the meet
this Saturday against UNI in Cedar Falls has been changed to
11:00 a.m. due to UNI football's playoff game that is
scheduled to start at 1:00 p.m.
(November 15) The Cyclones are at the Husker
Invitational in Lincoln, Nebraska. It is a 6 team competition
among Iowa State, Nebraska, Northern Iowa, Nebraska-Omaha,
Colorado State, and South Dakota State. It is a four day

(October 27) The Cyclones defeated South Dakota
State University on Saturday by a score of 182-111. The Cyclones

[Cyclones Capture First Win of the Year]
(October 22) The Cyclones travel this week to
Brookings, S.D. to face South Dakota State University on Saturday
at 1:00 p.m. The Cyclones next home meet is on Friday, December 7
at 6:00 p.m. when they face the Iowa Hawkeyes in competition at

(October 19) Iowa State Swimming & Diving is
hosting the Big 12 Relays today at Beyer Pool. The morning
swimming session begins at 9:00 a.m., and the afternoon swimming
session begins at 1:30 p.m. The morning diving session begins at
11:00 a.m., and the afternoon diving session is scheduled to
begin at 3:15 p.m. The following women's teams will be
participating: Iowa State, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Texas, and
Texas A&M. The following men's teams are also competing:
