Getting to the site:
**This program will be held at the Frances Willard Home and WCTU headquarters in Evanston, IL. It will include
a special tour of the Willard museum by the Frances Willard Historical Association. There will be a van available to transport folks from the hotel to the Willard House/Museum for the panel.  On Friday, November 5, the van will begin loading at 12:45 and will depart at 1.  The van will be at the 8th st. entrance of the Chicago Hilton and Towers.  It is a Continental Air Transport Van and will accommodate up to 10 people.   The van rental is supported by a grant from Northwestern so it will be free.

The return trip will be a bit more complicated as it will involve taking the train.  After the tour and panel we are hoping that participants coming up from the Hilton will have dinner together in Evanston.  There are some great places to eat and it might be fun to extend the discussion across the dinner table.  One member of the panel will be heading back to the hotel right after the panel, so there will be a "leader" to negotiate the train--the station is only 2 blocks from the WCTU headquarters.

To sign up for room in the van for the trip to the Willard House contact Amy Slagell prior to the convention or at the convention--just leave a message for her at the desk.  If you can join us for dinner afterwards please let Amy know that as well so that reservations can be made.  [Amy is at Iowa State University; office phone: (515) 294-3053]
