Project Summary
The Carapicuiba House by SPBR Architects has been a challenging house to model in Revit. Moving through the assignments, I have learned how valuable drawings and especially images have been in modeling the house in Revit. One of the biggest challenges was building the model with a lack of true elevation drawings. After personally contacting the firm asking for the elevations for the purposes of this academic excercise, the firm declined to release the elevations. So in order to complete the model to the best of my ability I carefully analyzed the images for missing details, such as materials and other details not translated in the floorplans. Overall the project has greatly tested and improved my skills with Revit as a modeling and communication tool.
