Hey

I just got back from Old Québec City, wow ! The architecture is so nice, it felt like I was in France. On our way to the restaurant for breakfast, we, Vincent, Claudia, Julie and I, walked by the Parliament, the Castle and the river. It is so romantic. I missed my boyfriend more than ever.

At the restaurant I had waffles with maple syrup, sooooooooo good. Vincent and Claudia had eggs and bacon and Julie had pancakes…but the pancakes are not the same as here, they are thinner and so much better. We talked about our different cultures and about what we wanted to do. Vincent and Julie know the city so well. We went shopping on Rue St-Jean, then we visited the Chateau Frontenac, we had lunch on Les Plaines d’Abraham and I ate my first poutine…humm, very good. It is the speciality of Québec, it is composed of French Fries, cheese and gravy. We also walked on la Rue du Trésor, it is the smallest street of Québec, and it is closed to car circulation. Many Quebec artists expose their paintings or drawings on the walls all year long. I bought a little one for you guys.

Yesssss, I will have fun in the big carnaval!
