Why Landscape Architecture?

      Landscape Architecture is an exciting and expanding field with limitless opportunity.  As landscape changes over time, new ways to build in it and with it will develop.  

       The landscape is really any inhabited space, whether by people, wildlife, or vegetation.  It is something we are surrounded with every day, yet seldom take the time to notice.   As landscape architects, we have the opportunity to highligh the role the landscape plays in daily life.  

        I chose landscape architecture becuase I love to design with both sides of my brain, and I love to work, play, and relax outside.  I care about the environment and the place people have in it.  Whether urban, rural, or somewhere in between, the landscape is meant for people and people for the landscape.  I just want to be a part of bringing the two together in a functional and aesthetically beautiful way.
