Hi my name is Amy Van Meter. I am from Shoreview, Minnesota. I went to Mounds View High School and had a graduation class of about five hundred and fifty students. I am currently a freshman at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. I am majoring in Engineering- Undeclared. I chose this major because Iowa State has a very strong engineering program, and because math and science are my best subjects. I hope to choose my actual major by the end of this year, or even semester if I’m lucky. Right now I am leaning towards mechanical engineering, but that could easily change. The only thing that I know for sure about my major is that chemical engineering will not be the one that I pick! I am very excited to see where these next four to five years will take me to.
