Vision Statement
International Programs in Public Administration (IPPA)
draws on the institutional capacity of Iowa State University to undertake
joint projects with U.S. and international partners. We work with universities,
government agencies, nonprofits, foundations, and other organizations in
countries seeking to decentralize and democratize organizational systems
and empower citizen leadership and participation. Although we often work
with national governmental agencies, our principal mission is to design
solutions which will provide tangible results at the grassroots level through
the actions of locally-based organizations and community leaders.
