Audience and Goals
The audience is your 104 instructor, other members of the class, and people interested in how economics relates to everyday life.

Assignment
For this assignment, you will take the news articles you have been collecting all semester and arrange them in some order into a scrapbook format. The steps you will take are quite easy --

First: you will need to look over all ten (10) of the news articles.

Second: you will make changes/corrections as needed to each article. They should be "perfect".

Third: you will create a caption for the visuals on each. This should be a caption of your own making - do not use one provided by the original article. Keep these captions brief and succinct.

Fourth: You will create a table of contents -- using the titles of the articles. The arrangement you select is your choice. Do you want them in alpha order? Do you want them in order of importance in your world? Do you want them arranged by topic? Your choice.

Fifth: You will create a bibliographic list -- a reference page -- with correctly used APA or MLA citations.

Sixth: You will create a synthesis -- this document, which must appear in the table of contents -- is to discuss the articles you collected. In other words, you need to synthesize the material you have collected. Create an interesting introduction paragraph, then, in subsequent paragraphs, you will discuss some key elements of the news articles you gathered. You will then need a conclusion.

Seventh: Create a cover. This cover needs to reflect you, economics, the theme of some of your articles, whatever. We will spend some time talking about visuals -- balance of same, lettering styles, etc. Your cover must have color; your cover must have a title; your cover must include your name, date, and course number.

Eighth: Put all the materials together and have it bound with one of those curly thingees. (Most copy centers to this -- so does Staples.)

Ninth: Turn it in.
