The future of Tarot and Card Reading
Historians are not quite sure, when tarot was first introduced. The first tarot decks are supposed to be created in the early 15th century in italy. But it appears that tarot cards haven´t been used for divinaton up until the 18th century. Divination with other card decks started as early as 1540, when a book entitled "The Oracles of Francesco Marcolino da Forli" showed basic principles of divination with a regular deck of cards.
Today Tarot is still one of the biggest and most popular forms of divination, with lots of fortune tellers advertising in local newspapers, and just recently even via TV. But tarot cards are still biased in the community, since there are a lot of fake fortune tellers, telling help-seeking individuals everything they want to hear. Just recently the magician Chris, Mindfreak, Angel performed an illustrious experiment in Las Vegas, when he layed down exactly the same tarot cards to 5 different people, telling them all almost the exact same reading. Everyone of those 5 participants was just stunned, how close Chris Angel came with his predictions. The simple thruth is, that a card reader will basically just tell you general things, and react accordingly to your reactions on the reading. This makes it possible for a skilled "fortune teller" to get astonishing results.
But a lot of people find great help in having a tarot card reading, giving them advice for pending decisions in their life, as well as help in processing recent events.
You find a wide range of different types of card-reading techniques over at Questico, with the interesting twist, that you can read user comments on the adivisors before consulting with him. These ratings make it pretty easy finding a good card reader for your specific situation. A really interesting feature a newspaper could never offer!
The same applies basically for all the different types of divination and fortune telling, like Clairvoyance and Psychic Readings for example, which may even be a lot cheaper (telephone rates can be as low as a couple of dollars per minute), since the calls are accounted by minute, hence making it convenient for you having the possibility to hang up, if you dislike a certain advisor (which is probably a big problem with a live session at someones house for example).
If you like to read more about Tarot, go to Wikipedia´s Page about Tarot, which gives a great overview about the tarot and its history. A great book about Psychic Readings (it´s actually a pretty good How-to guide) can be found at Amazon - called "How do Psychic Readings Through touch".
