Research Assistant (work-study and non-work-study)
Responsibilities
(any or all of the following):
* Greenhouse support: watering plants, sowing seeds, transplanting
seedlings, fertilizing, etc.
* Lab support - stocking reagents and supplies, preparing growth
media, cleaning labware, disposing of waste
* Computer database support: data entry
* Assistance with experiments
Hours
per week: 10-20
Hourly wage: from $8.25
Job requirements:
* Dependability
* Attention to detail
* Initiative (ability to work with minimal supervision)
* Background in plant and or microbial biology helpful although
not required
