LAB ASSISTANT POSITIONS (Updated March 23, 2009)

NOW HIRING FOR SUMMER AND FALL 2009. WORK STUDY ELIGIBLE.

Flexible 5 hr/wk required, 20 hrs/week available during academic year. 10-40 hrs/week summer. .

Starting pay: $8.25/hr ($0.25/hr increase per semester, $0.50/hr increase over summer with satisfactory performance)

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will be determined according to the student's interests and abilities and may include any or all of the following:
* Lab support - stocking reagents and supplies, preparing growth media, cleaning labware
* Greenhouse support – sowing seeds, transplanting seedlings, fertilizing, etc.
* Computer database support
* Assistance with experiments
* Independent research
