What the AIAA is
AIAA or American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics is an organization for students, and professionals in a aerospace field, and anyone who might be interested in Aeronautics and Astronautics. AIAA is also open to all engineering majors who may be interested in aerospace or aeronautics. It is a fun and interesting group that creates exciting projects that many students suggest and participate in.

AIAA is in the process of building a new demonstration wind tunnel. This is an excellent project to get involved in for anyone who wants hands-on learning.
