Training Coordinator
- Organize and coordinate training opportunities to further the education of members concerning appropriate responses to disaster, trauma and crisis
- Recommend appropriate training materials (articles, books, etc) and communicate these needs to the Treasurer
- Collaborate with established organizations such as the Red Cross, etc.
Outreach Coordinator
- Chair of Outreach Committee
- Coordinate outreaches in the community to raise awareness of trauma-related mental health needs
- Organize training opportunities for others in the community
- Raise awareness of the organization and its mission
Research Coordinator
- Review research proposals and progress reports regarding research funded by SHARE and ensure they abide by APA ethical guidelines
- Participate in decision to allocate SHARE research monies
- Educate the organization on APA ethical guidelines concerning disaster and trauma-related research
Treasurer / Grant Coordinator
- Chair Finance Committee
- Manage budget
- Identify grant opportunities
- Coordinate grant applications
- Assist in executive activities and serve as president when president is absent
Fundraising Coordinator
- Chair of Fundraising Committee
- Coordinate and manage all fundraising efforts
- Identify fundraising opportunities
- Collaborate with other organizations and departments such as advertising and marketing departments
Communications Positions: Supporting all goals of SHARE
Administrative Coordinator
- Record meeting minutes and distribute to the members within one week
- Notify members of meetings and events
- Organize materials generated by the organization and keep in a central location accessible by all members
Webmaster
- Design and manage SHARE website
- Manage SHARE list serve – keeping member list updated
Media Relations Coordinator
- Communicate with the media and local newspapers about upcoming events
- Issue press releases to the media
Campus Relations Coordinator
- Raise awareness of the organization on campus and with other student organizations
- Communicate SHARE activities to relevant groups on campus
Grievance Officer
- Manage complaints and grievances lodged against the organization or against individual members or officers
