AerE 661 Perturbation Methods

Introduction to the fundamentals of perturbation methods, matched asymptotic expansions and multiple scales analysis. Introduction to solvability conditions and adjoint equations. Applications to boundary layer theory, resonant vibrations, homogenization and nonlinear waves.
