WHAT:
Parks Library is hosting the presentation of four NCBI Mini-courses. Each course is 2 1/2 hours in length with the first 1 1/2 hours devoted to an overview that is followed by a 1 hour hands-on computer session. The mini-courses will be taught by two biologists from the NCBI User Services staff.

WHERE:
The lecture portion of each mini-course will be held in Room 31 (lower level) at Parks Library.
For each mini-course,
there will be two hands-on computer sessions held simultaneously in Room 32
(computer lab) at Parks Library and in Room 1340 (computer lab) at the Molecular
Biology Building.
NOTE: Due to limited space, pre-registration is required!! The lecture portion of each mini-course will be held in Room 31 at Parks Library. This room can accommodate 65 people.
INTENDED AUDIENCE:
The course is designed for faculty, graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and others in the life sciences who work with biological sequence data. Because seating is limited, the course is not recommended for most undergraduate students.
