Happy New Year from "Your Librarian"!
I hope all of you had an enjoyable semester break. Take a few moments to review this issue of "What's New" as I think you'll be very excited about my announcements regarding expanded online access to existing journals as well as access to new journals related to the life sciences. A number of journals that were on the Library's "journal wishlist" have been purchased for 2009; some of your "wishes" have been granted! Please continue to email me your suggestions for additional journals, books, and DVDs; I appreciate your input.
If you are planning on including any research assignments in your courses this semester, please contact me if you are interested in having me provide instruction to your class. If you are interested in learning more about library resources (e.g. PubMed search tips, current awareness tools, etc.), please contact me via email to schedule an appointment.
Have a great semester!
Andrea Dinkelman, Science & Technology Librarian
1. Veterinary Clinics of North America available online!
2. Online Access to Cell Press Journals!!
4. New Books at the Veterinary Medical Library
Veterinary Clinics of North America available online!
I'm happy to announce that the Veterinary Clinics of North America (Equine Practice, Exotic Animal Practice, Food Animal Practice, & Small Animal Practice) are now available online. All four titles are accessible from the e-journals list or the library catalog. Content is available from 2002 - present. The four print subscriptions will be retained for the present time; issues may be checked out from the Veterinary Medical Library.
Online Access to Cell Press Journals
Good news! The following Cell Press journals are now available online via the Library's subscription and are accessible from the e-journals list or the library catalog:
The following titles were selected from the Library's "journal wishlist." Online access is available for the following journals:
All journals are accessible from the e-journals list or the library catalog.
