Physics 321 "Modern Physics I"

Syllabus

Notes on homework:

1) be neat - staple the pages, spiral notebook paper should be trimmed of all hanging pieces

2) show ALL work (includes intermediate steps in deriving equations, substitutions etc)

3)  Most of the time, a proper solution should start with useful relationships or equations, followed by the manipulation
of those equations in variable form all the way to the final solution and only THEN should they plug in constants and
known values.  Plugging in numbers at the beginning makes it very difficult to understand the solution and find errors.

4) provide units (and how they were derrived) with ever answer and it's also wise to box-off or underline any final
    numerical solution.
