Brief
Description:
This project involves the creation of online training modules
to provide better access to health care consumerism training.
The focus has been on adapting existing classroom-based materials
to online delivery. In addition, options of a suitable content
management system and assessment options have been explored.

Nature:
The main purpose of the project was to prepare
Module 1 of the Health Care Consumerism (HCC) modules for
computer delivery including appropriate assessment tools and
recommendations for an online learning management system to
deliver these materials to the users. |

City of Ames employees taking Health Care
Consumerism training.

Outcomes:
The materials met learner expectations
for motivating and engaging online materials and the
participants enjoyed the materials being available
via a computer delivery format over the traditional
paper/pamphlet delivery system, allowing them to manage
their own learning. |
